Changes to the 2020-2025 SPP/APR Indicator Requirements
In early October 2020, the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) released the new State Performance Plan and Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) for Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
States will continue to have to collect and report data on 17 Part B Indicators. Below is a quick overview of the changes for each indicator.

The due date for FFY 2020 is February 1, 2022. The FFY 2020 includes data from the 2020-21 school year. The data for the year before the reporting year for selected indicators is school year 2019–20.
FFY 2020, the due date of the SPP/APR is February 1, 2022. The reporting year is FFY 2020 or school year 2020–21. The data for the year before the reporting year for selected indicators is school year 2019–20. See below for a clarification of the data to be reported for each indicator.
